Active Bystander Intervention Training

Active Bystander Intervention Training is a workshop to learn methods to help (in a constructive way) when you see anyone being harassed. It does this by grounding the training in nonviolence, de-escalation, and compassion for others. This is foundational work for Unitarian Universalists as we seek ways to fulfill our anti-racism, anti-oppression, multicultural commitment. Join trainer Rachana Oza of the Montgomery County Civil Rights Coalition in Houston, Texas on Thursday, May 11th, 7-9pm, at the First Unitarian Universalist Church (Museum District campus) at 5200 Fannin Street. There is no fee for this training.”
