Climate in Crisis: Dahr Jamail and The End of Ice

Dahr Jamail has traveled all over the world interviewing climate scientists and observing the climate catastrophe which is currently unfolding. He bears witness to his observations in his new book, The End of Ice.

Dahr is an independent journalist, who has won numerous awards, including the 2008 Martha Gellhorn Award for Journalism, The Lannan Foundation Writing Residency Fellowship, the James Aronson Award for Social Justice Journalism, the Joe A. Callaway Award for Civic Courage, five Project Censored awards, and an Izzy award.

Dahr will speak on October 11, 2019 at the Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church at 1900 Bering Drive, at 7 PM.
